Santorini Port Transfer

Athinios handles Santorini's scheduled ferry arrivals; it is not the Old Port used by cruise tenders below Fira. KC Travel accepts route-specific transfer requests from Athinios to Oia, Fira, Imerovigli, Kamari, Perissa and Santorini Airport. Share your sailing and exact destination details before travel.

Ferry pickup: Athinios and Old Port are different

Athinios, also known as the New Port, is the road-connected harbour for scheduled ferry services. Cruise ships anchor offshore and tender passengers to the Old Port beneath Fira; do not confuse the two locations.

Share your ferry operator, vessel and arrival details and agree a precise meeting point. Passenger flows and vehicle access depend on port operations at the time.

If the sailing time changes, pass the update to KC Travel and ask for explicit confirmation. A delay or rescheduling does not guarantee that a pickup can be moved.

Provide passenger and luggage details along with the route. The fleet's stated passenger capacity is up to three, while bag capacity and vehicle availability are checked individually.

Choose a road destination for your port arrival

The six route pages below distinguish Oia, Fira, Imerovigli, Kamari, Perissa and JTR Airport. Every destination needs its own address and access plan, especially when accommodation is on a pedestrian lane.

Oia and Imerovigli can involve caldera paths and steps. Fira has restricted central streets; Kamari and Perissa include beachfront areas where an adjacent road may be the practical stopping place.

The airport route ends at JTR, not at a flight gate or airline check-in desk. For a ferry arrival, Athinios is the origin of these port routes; cruise visitors should establish a road-accessible meeting point after reaching Fira from the Old Port.

For every destination, share the exact address, requested time, bags and any mobility needs. The quote and vehicle plan depend on those details and require confirmation.

Frequently asked questions

Which port should I use for a scheduled ferry?

Scheduled ferries use Athinios. Cruise passengers usually tender to the Old Port beneath Fira, which needs a different meeting plan.

Will a driver automatically adjust to a delayed ferry?

No automatic adjustment is promised. Send updated sailing information and request confirmation of a revised pickup.

Can a port transfer take me to my hotel door?

It depends on the hotel's address and road access. Pedestrian lanes, steps and restricted streets can require a nearby drop-off and final walk.
